Hey there! It’s a thrilling week with the BIG GAME just around the corner! Can you believe the Super Bowl is here already? My kids are super hyped because they’re huge fans of Patrick Mahomes. Personally, I’m a Patriots fan, but it seems our time has passed (for now). No worries, though – I’m ready for some awesome food and entertaining commercials!
Speaking of great food, let’s not forget to appreciate how tasty this week’s meal plan is. Dive in and enjoy every delicious moment!
I will continue to provide free weekly meal plans through 2024! Each plan follows the design of my “Stick to Your Budget Checklist” and includes 3 pantry friendly meal options (at least one of which is vegetarian), 3 budget conscious recipes, and assumes 1 leftovers day. There are also 2 breakfast options and a sweet treat to try!
Monday: If you ask me, tuna melts are highly underrated. Especially if you make this one! It’s extra cheesy with all the fixings. You’ll wonder why you don’t make it more often!
Tuesday: This Spanish Inspired Rice and Kidney Beans is a little different but in a good way. The olives and citrus add a really fresh and salty twist. Don’t be surprised if you grab seconds!
Wednesday: This Southwest Rotisserie Chicken Wrap recipe is the perfect, easy, weeknight meal. You can customize the wraps to everyone’s liking without feeling like your making 10 different meals.
Thursday: This cube steak is made in the crock pot and it’s a true dump n go. Perfect for a day when there are after work/school activities. When you finally make it home, dinner is waiting! I’d serve this with a simple canned green beans recipe and my mother in law’s spinach rice.
Friday: It’s been a long week. It’s time to make something everyone can agree on. These Gold Fish Ranch Nuggets are so easy and a winner every time. Serve them with simple frozen French fries and a garden salad and call it a week!
Saturday or Sunday (one night is leftovers): It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Check out these recipes and pick out your favorites! I know I’ll be making wings, deviled eggs, and maybe trying something new! Comment below what you are planning for Super Bowl food!
For Breakfast: These two ingredient bagel bites are new to the blog but I’ve been making them for years! They freeze really well too so you can make up a big batch and save them for busy mornings!
This baked oatmeal is gonna blow your mind! The blend of oatmeal, peanut butter, blueberries, and pecans is straight up intoxicating! Not to mention the sprinkle of brown sugar over the top! This also freezes really well. Any extras can go in the freezer for the coming weeks!
For a Sweet Treat: I know the super bowl is all about the ultimate dips. So mix it up and make this cannoli dip as a sweet addition!
I hope you have the most magnificent week and eat well for less!
