Christmas Charcuterie Cups (Easy, Adorable & Perfect for Parties!)

christmas charcuterie cups lined up with salami trees, snowman mozzerella balls, candy canes, and goat cheese balls

If you’re searching for the cutest, easiest, and most festive Christmas charcuterie idea this year, you are going to love these Christmas Charcuterie Cups. They’re individual, mess-free, and packed with fun holiday touches like mozzarella snowmen, salami Christmas trees, and goat cheese “ornaments” rolled in pistachios and craisins.

As a mom of three and someone who has spent years creating crowd-pleasing recipes, I can confidently say—these cups are a holiday party win. They look impressive, they’re incredibly simple to assemble, and your guests will love having their own personal charcuterie snack ready to grab and enjoy.

Why You’ll Love These Christmas Charcuterie Cups

  • Perfect for parties—no crowding around one big board
  • Festive and fun with mini holiday-themed skewers
  • Great make-ahead option
  • Budget-friendly and portion controlled
  • Beginner friendly—no fancy charcuterie skills required

Ingredients You Need

Christmas skewers for salami Christmas Trees

You’ll need a few tings to get started including the cups that you can easily purchase from amazon here. As well as some festive skewers also found on Amazon here. Then, if you really want to go above and beyond you can also buy some labels to put a fun festive label on the front. These Avery ones are the ones that I use.

Base of Each Cup

  • Pistachios (just enough to cover the bottom)
  • 1 long cracker (I love Firehook brand for the shape and sturdiness)
  • 1 regular candy cane
    • I’ve tested a few versions, and this works best with a regular-size candy cane — the mini ones tend to disappear visually in the cup and don’t stand up as well.

3 Christmas-Themed Skewers

  1. Mozzarella Snowmen
    – Made with mini mozzarella balls
    – Use the linked tutorial for shaping and decorating

2. Salami Christmas Trees
– Fold salami slices to create layered tree shapes
– Linked tutorial included

3. Goat Cheese Ornament Balls: Roll goat cheese balls in pistachios and craisins and place them on a skewer.
– Goat cheese
– Equal parts chopped pistachios + chopped craisins

How to Make Goat Cheese Holiday Ornaments

These festive little goat cheese balls add the perfect pop of red and green:

    1. Roll goat cheese into small balls.
    2. Mix equal parts chopped pistachios and craisins.
    3. Roll the cheese balls in the mixture.
    4. Add to a small skewer or cocktail pick.

They look like tiny ornaments—bright, colorful, and perfectly festive.

How to Assemble Your Christmas Charcuterie Cups

To get the prettiest presentation, assemble in this order:

    1. Add pistachios to the bottom of each cup.
    2. Place a long Firehook cracker inside at a slight angle.
    3. Add one regular candy cane.
    4. Insert your skewers:
      • Mozzarella snowman
      • Salami Christmas tree
      • Goat cheese ornament ball

This layering gives height, color, and balance—so each cup looks beautifully curated.

DIY Christmas Stickers for the Cups (Optional but SO Cute!)

If you want to make personalized Christmas stickers for your cups:

    • Use Avery printable labels
    • Design them in Avery’s free online studio
    • Print at home and stick them onto your cups

The stickers give your charcuterie cups a boutique, polished look with almost no effort.

Tips for Perfect Christmas Charcuterie Cups

    • Use sturdy, clear cups so guests can see all the festive layers
    • Make the skewers up to 24 hours ahead and assemble cups right before serving
    • Add a rosemary sprig for aroma and a Christmas-tree feel
    • Stick to three skewers per cup for the best balance

    What to Serve These For

These Christmas charcuterie cups are ideal for:

    • Holiday parties
    • Classroom events
    • Office gatherings
    • Christmas Eve appetizers
    • Family get-togethers
    • Grazing tables

They’re portable, easy to pass around, and always get compliments.

    Final Thoughts

If you want to elevate your Christmas charcuterie this year without spending hours arranging a giant board, these adorable Christmas Charcuterie Cups are the perfect solution. They’re festive, fun, simple to make, and guaranteed to be the star of your holiday celebration.
