  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Wash and trim the asparagus spears.
  3. Whisk cream, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Place parchment paper on a medium baking sheet.
  5. Unroll your defrosted dough and shape it to fit the pan. For Pepperidge Farm, you’ll need about a sheet and 2/3 of the second sheet.
  6. Sprinkle 1/2 a cup of the shredded cheddar over the dough and top with the asparagus (spread it evenly over the whole pan).
  7. Pour the cream mixture over the asparagus and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes until the puff pastry is crispy and cooked though.
  9. Slice into 8 or 12 slices depending on your desired outcome.
