- 6 cups salad greens
- 1/2 pound fresh strawberries
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese
For the Dressing:
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Slice the strawberries into bite size pieces.
- Wisk the dressing ingredients well or place them in a mason jar and shake vigerously until they are emulsified.
- Assemble the salad on a large serving platter or in a shallow bowl: lettuce, pecans, strawberries, and goat cheese.
- Chill until ready to serve.
- Drizzle salad dressing evenly over the salad when ready to serve.
