Description
Cook up some ground beef and place it on white bread in a 9×13 and you basically get a casserole dish of cheeseburgers fit for a happy family!
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon burger seasoning (whatever you like to use)
- 10 slices of white bread
- 3 tablespoons room temperature butter
- 10 slices American cheese
- Ketchup, mayo, and mustard (to your liking)
- 1/2 an onion minced (or onion powder, or reconstituted dried onion)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown ground beef in a frying pan. Drain fat and add your favorite burger seasoning.
- Butter 5 slices of bread and place them butter side down in a 9×13 casserole dish (the 5th can squeeze in on the side).
- Top the bread with one slice of American cheese each.
- Top the cheese with the cooked ground beef.
- Top the ground beef with the minced onion and your favorite burger toppings (mayo, mustard, ketchup – whatever you like).
- Top with another slice of American cheese each.
- Butter 5 more slices of white bread and place them on the meat, butter side up.
- Bake for 18 minutes. Then broil for 3 minutes to really crisp them up.
