A New Summer Ground Beef Recipe: Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe·Leave a Review

While indulging in comforting dishes like lasagna during the winter months is a personal favorite, the arrival of summer calls for lighter fare that still satisfies the taste buds. While burgers are a classic summer staple, sometimes it’s refreshing to shake things up. Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps are a perfect blend of savory beef infused with citrusy goodness, wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.

Embracing Lighter Meals:

As the temperatures rise and the days grow longer, my cravings tend to shift towards lighter, more refreshing meals. While burgers are undeniably delicious, I often find myself seeking alternative ways to enjoy budget friendly ground beef. That’s where these Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps come in. They offer all the savory goodness of beef with a fresh and tangy twist, making them the ideal choice for summer dining.

Make Them Your Own

One of the joys of cooking is the opportunity to customize dishes to suit your taste preferences. For me, topping these lettuce wraps with pickled red onions adds a burst of tangy flavor that perfectly complements the citrus-infused beef. It’s a simple addition that elevates the dish to new heights, adding depth and complexity to every bite.

The Perfect Serving Solution:

When it comes to serving these delicious lettuce wraps, I rely on my trusty taco plates to make the experience seamless and enjoyable. These smaller plates not only make serving and enjoying the wraps a breeze but also offer practicality in storage. Unlike their larger counterparts, which took up too much space in my cabinets and often led to clutter, these smaller plates fit perfectly alongside my regular dishes, making them a valuable addition to my kitchen arsenal.

Leftover Marmalade

These wraps are perfect for using leftover marmalade or purchasing new. After enjoying this delightful summer treat, I discovered another ingenious way to utilize leftover orange marmalade—Orange Chicken.

By repurposing the remaining marmalade, I created a mouthwatering chicken dish infused with the same fresh and tangy flavors. It’s the perfect follow-up to the Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps and a testament to the versatility of this humble ingredient.

Embrace the Season

As we savor the flavors of summer and embrace lighter fare, Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps emerge as a standout dish that promises to delight the senses and satisfy the soul. With their fresh and tangy flavor profile, customizable toppings, and practical serving solutions, these wraps are sure to become a favorite in your summer recipe repertoire. So why wait? Dive into the world of citrus-infused goodness and elevate your summer dining experience with Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps.
