One time my mother in law made this million dollar spaghetti for an event and the rest is history! I started making it and now it’s my potluck go-to!

Description

This Million Dollar Spaghetti is worth that and a whole lot more! It’s requested again and again from my friends!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound ground sausage, chicken sausage, or ground beef
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves minced (garlic)
  • 24 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 pound spaghetti (cooked)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (or ricotta)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat and add the onion. Sautee until the onion is softened.
  2. Add the garlic and sautee for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add in all but 1/2 a cup of the tomato sauce, mix well, and remove from the heat.
  4. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese.
  5. Mix reserved 1/2 cup of sauce with the cooked spaghetti.
  6. To assemble the casserole, pour half of the spaghetti over the bottom of a 13×9 pan. Top the spaghetti evenly with the cheese mixture. Place the rest of the spaghetti on top, top with the meat mixture, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until bubbly!
