Description
This Million Dollar Spaghetti is worth that and a whole lot more! It’s requested again and again from my friends!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sausage, chicken sausage, or ground beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves minced (garlic)
- 24 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 pound spaghetti (cooked)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese (or ricotta)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Brown the meat and add the onion. Sautee until the onion is softened.
- Add the garlic and sautee for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add in all but 1/2 a cup of the tomato sauce, mix well, and remove from the heat.
- Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese.
- Mix reserved 1/2 cup of sauce with the cooked spaghetti.
- To assemble the casserole, pour half of the spaghetti over the bottom of a 13×9 pan. Top the spaghetti evenly with the cheese mixture. Place the rest of the spaghetti on top, top with the meat mixture, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until bubbly!
