These Italian sliders are a healthier twist on a classic sandwich, using nitrate-free Applegate meats and homemade sourdough rolls made with organic ingredients. Packed with savory Italian meats, fresh veggies, and creamy avocado mayo, these sliders are the perfect bite-sized meal for any occasion!

Slider rolls (preferably homemade sourdough, sliced in half)

1 small head of organic romaine lettuce

1 package Applegate organic ham

1/2 package Applegate nitrate-free salami

1/2 package Applegate grass-fed pepperoni

2 tablespoons mild banana peppers

1 Grillo pickle (or your favorite brand)

1/4 of a red onion, finely sliced

4 slices grass-fed cheddar cheese

4 tablespoons avocado mayo

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons Primal Kitchen Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon red wine vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Prepare the Salad Base:
Lay the organic romaine lettuce on a cutting board and spread it out flat. Using a sharp knife, chop the lettuce into small, bite-sized pieces. -
Chop the Meats and Veggies:
Finely chop the Applegate organic ham, nitrate-free salami, and grass-fed pepperoni. Add them to the chopped lettuce. Then chop the banana peppers, Grillo pickle, and red onion and add them to the mix. -
Add the Cheese and Seasonings:
Tear the grass-fed cheddar cheese into small pieces and add it to the mixture. Add avocado mayo, Italian seasoning, Primal Kitchen Italian seasoning, and red wine vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. -
Mix Everything Together:
Thoroughly mix the ingredients until everything is well combined. -
Assemble the Sliders:
Open the sourdough slider rolls and fill each with the chopped mixture. Ensure the mixture is packed tightly into each roll. Cut into 12 equal portions. -
