Most Amazing & BEST Low Calorie Meals for 450 Calories & $2 or Less A Serving

It’s getting warmer out, the BBQ’s are abundant which means lots of indulgence, and bathing suit season is upon us! I love to indulge in delicious food all year round but I try to keep things in check so I stay healthy. And it’s one of my mottos that staying healthy doesn’t need to break the bank. That’s why I made the best low calorie meals that all come in under 450 calories (some as low as 195). Not only are they low calorie, they are also inexpensive at under $2 a serving!

Super Inexpensive Shrimp Rolls for $1.43 a Roll!

Yes, you read that right. This shrimp roll is one of the best low calorie meals, not only because it is only 195 calories, it’s also $1.43 a roll! This will remind you of an expensive seafood dinner out at a fraction of the price. The original recipe here uses greek yogurt but I used mayo instead. If you have it on hand, a sprinkle of Old Bay really spices things up! Get the full recipe here!

Vegetarian Eggplant Curry Recipe

My kids could not believe this eggplant curry wasn’t chicken. Not that it tastes like chicken, but it’s hearty enough to be a meat dish. The original recipe here includes zucchini but I didn’t have any so I just used one eggplant and even with that, this recipe could easily feed 4.

Fish Tacos at 152 Calories a Taco!

I based my recipe off of this Skinny Taste Recipe and I’ll likely never go back! I used cod but the original recipe calls for tilapia which can be quite a bit cheaper. Topping that delicious mixture with coleslaw mix and cilantro was plenty flavorful and filling. I like to have 3 tacos at around 450 calories which is a perfect dinner for me!
