There’s something undeniably comforting about the flavors of a classic cheeseburger. The juicy beef, the crisp bacon, the tangy ketchup, and mustard, and of course, the oozy cheddar cheese, all sandwiched between a soft bun. Now imagine all those beloved flavors rolled into one delight – Bacon Burger Biscuit Bombs!

Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs: A Flavor Explosion

Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs are a testament to the idea that good things come in small packages. These savory delights capture the essence of a classic cheeseburger and present it in a fun and convenient form. Let’s dive into the recipe.

How To Make Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound of ground beef
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • 1/4 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of relish or diced pickles
  • 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
  • 1 can of southern-style biscuit dough
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (or preferred seasoning)

Instructions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F.

Cook the ground beef with diced onion over medium heat until fully cooked. I just used the same pan I used to cook the bacon in earlier, it provided extra flavor that I wasn’t mad about!

Remove from heat and add the cooked and crumbled bacon, ketchup, relish (or diced pickles), and yellow mustard. Mix well to create a cheeseburger-flavored filling.

Roll out the southern-style biscuit dough into flat, mini discs on a floured surface.

Add about a tablespoon of shredded cheddar and a tablespoon of the ground beef mixture in the center of each biscuit dough round.

Fold the sides of the dough together, creating a ball or “bomb.”

Place the bombs on a lined baking sheet. Brush them with an egg wash (whisked egg).

Sprinkle sesame seeds or your preferred seasoning over the top.
