Quality on a Budget

Steak tips are a fantastic option for meat lovers looking for quality on a budget. They often come at a more affordable price point compared to premium cuts like ribeye, making them a savvy choice for budget-conscious cooks. Plus, steak tips freeze exceptionally well, allowing you to take advantage of sales and stock up for future meals.

But let’s be honest, steak tips sometimes need a little extra love to reach their full potential. That’s where this easy bourbon steak tip marinade comes in. Whether you’re grilling, broiling, or pan-searing your tips, this sweet and tangy marinade adds depth of flavor that will take your meal to the next level.

Tips and Tricks

Here are some tips and tricks to make the most out of your steak tip experience:

  1. Trim and Cut: If you’ve purchased larger, longer steak tips, use kitchen scissors to cut them into more manageable pieces. This makes the tips easier to handle. It also increases the surface area for the marinade to penetrate, resulting in more flavorful meat.
  2. Marinade in a Bag: Save yourself time and cleanup by marinating your steak tips in a freezer-safe gallon bag. It’s convenient for storing in the fridge or freezer and allows for easy mixing of the marinade and tips. Additionally, it ensures that every inch of meat gets coated in flavor. Plus, if unexpected plans come up, you can simply toss the marinated tips in the freezer for another day without any waste.
  3. Invest in Bag Holders: Consider using bag holders to keep your gallon bag upright while you add the tips and marinade. Not only does this eliminate the need for extra dishes, but it also prevents spills and makes the marinating process a breeze. These handy kitchen tools are a worthwhile investment that will save you time and hassle.

Enjoy the Recipe!

Ready to elevate your steak tip game? Try out this delicious bourbon marinade recipe and watch as your ordinary steak tips become a gourmet meal that rivals your favorite steakhouse. Whether you’re cooking for a crowd or enjoying a cozy dinner at home, this marinade is sure to impress. Enjoy!
