After being captivated by numerous tantalizing air fried salmon bites recipes on TikTok, I felt compelled to put my own unique twist on the trend and come up with my own recipe for salmon bites. With a freezer stocked with nutritious and delicious wild-caught salmon, I knew this endeavor wouldn’t just satisfy my culinary cravings but also offer fellow seafood enthusiasts a flavorful and healthy alternative to traditional salmon dishes.
Wildly Delicious!
As an avid fan of wild-caught salmon always nestled in my freezer, stumbling upon this TikTok inspiration was an absolute delight. The notion of air frying salmon bites piqued my curiosity, prompting me to give it a shot. And let me tell you, the results were beyond my wildest expectations!
The Process Couldn’t Be Simpler:
Season your wild-caught salmon with:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
Pop them into the air fryer at 400 degrees F for a quick and hassle-free cooking experience. What truly amazes me is the air fryer’s efficiency. In just 7 minutes salmon bites emerge perfectly cooked, with a delightful crispness that rivals traditional frying methods.
How to Serve this Recipe for Salmon Bites
I decided to get a bit creative and plate my air fried salmon bites over a bed of nutty brown rice, alongside creamy avocado slices and crisp carrot strips. The combination reminded me of an inside-out sushi roll, with a healthy twist and an explosion of flavors!
To elevate the dish even further, I sprinkled sesame seeds over the ensemble. These tiny seeds are a staple in my pantry, lending a satisfying crunch and nutty essence to Asian-inspired creations, transforming them into culinary delights fit for any restaurant menu.
But the pièce de résistance? A drizzle of spicy sriracha mayo, delicately thinned with a splash of water to achieve the perfect consistency. Trust me, this zesty sauce adds a delightful kick that perfectly complements the salmon’s delicate flavor profile.
And what’s an Asian-inspired dish without a splash of soy sauce? My go-to is the Momofuku brand, renowned for its rich umami flavor that enhances every bite, leaving your taste buds yearning for more.
Did You know I made this during a 7 day pantry callenge?
