New Easy Recipe – High Protein Cottage Cheese Eggs

I heard that egg prices are rising again! Luckily, cottage cheese prices don’t seem to be rising as well. A great way to beef up your eggs is to add some cottage cheese! This makes a super delicious, and super creamy egg that is prefect for any breakfast!

Description

Adding cottage cheese to your eggs is a great way to up the protein. This recipe is helpful if eggs are more expensive or if you have cottage cheese on hand and only a few eggs. It can really stretch your breakfast without hitting the store!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, cottage cheese, milk, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a medium frying pan over medium low heat and add melt the butter.
  3. Add the egg mixture and stir constantly, scrambling the eggs.
  4. Once the eggs are fully cooked, but not brown, remove them from the pan and enjoy!
