Rosemary-Garlic Salmon Sheet Pan Recipe

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe·Leave a Review

‘Tis the season for festive feasting, and what better way to elevate your dinner than with a mouthwatering Rosemary-Garlic Salmon Sheet Pan recipe? This Rosemary-Garlic Salmon Sheet Pan Recipe creates a flavorful and healthy holiday dish that’s sure to impress your loved ones.

Getting Started

Begin your culinary journey by infusing a teaspoon of fresh Rosemary into a tantalizing mixture of 3 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil and 2 teaspoons of minced garlic. Opt for fresh Rosemary if possible, as it adds a burst of aromatic richness to your dish. This infusion serves as the foundation for a sauce that will elevate your salmon to new heights. But dried will also do, if that’s what you have on hand.

Perfectly Roasted Potatoes – A Festive Side

For the ideal accompaniment to your salmon, slice 1 and 1/4 lbs of Yukon Gold potatoes into a medium dice. Toss them in the Rosemary-Garlic oil mixture, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast at 425°F for 20 minutes, delivering a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. Achieving the perfect balance of texture and flavor is crucial in sheet pan cooking.

Vibrant Additions

While the potatoes are sizzling in the oven, prepare your asparagus by cutting it into thirds. Coat the asparagus in the same Rosemary-Garlic oil mixture used for the potatoes, enhancing its vibrant green color and flavor. A dash of salt and pepper completes this elegant side dish, adding depth to your feast. After 20 minutes, move the potatoes to the side and add the asparagus. Cook for 3 more minutes.

No salmon dish is complete without the zesty brightness of lemon. Slice your lemon into rounds, ready to adorn the salmon and vegetables. The citrusy notes will complement the richness of the Rosemary-Garlic infusion, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.

The Start of The Show

Prepare your salmon by generously spreading the remaining Rosemary-Garlic oil mixture over it. The result? A succulent and flavorful main course that will leave your guests raving. As the salmon cooks to perfection, the infusion of Rosemary and garlic will infuse each bite with unparalleled taste. After the asparagus cooks for 3 minutes, nestle the salmon between the potatoes and asparagus and bake for 5 minutes.

Cap off the culinary symphony with a glaze featuring two tablespoons of balsamic glaze and a tablespoon of grainy mustard. Even if you opt for Dijon, the resulting flavor will be nothing short of exquisite. Remove the salmon after the 5 minutes of baking. Brush this glaze over the salmon, adding a final layer of complexity that ties the entire dish together. Bake for 5 more minutes and you’re ready to eat!

Delight In The Beauty!

As your Rosemary-Garlic Salmon Sheet Pan creation emerges from the oven, you’ll be greeted with a festive masterpiece that marries the richness of salmon, the earthiness of Rosemary, and the freshness of lemon. Delight in a healthier option that doesn’t compromise on flavor. Your family will undoubtedly rave about this culinary triumph, making it a cherished addition to your Christmas traditions. Cheers to a delicious and memorable holiday season!
