  • Author: Maria
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cupcakes 1x

Description

Celebrate Easter with these charming Robins Egg Cupcakes, featuring fluffy blue frosting, colorful sprinkle nests, and Cadbury egg centers. Easy to make and irresistibly cute, they’re a delightful treat for all ages!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Boxed cupcake mix or your favorite cupcake recipe
  • 3 cups vanilla frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • Blue food coloring
  • Festive pastel colored sprinkles
  • Cadbury min eggs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cupcakes according to the instructions on the box or using your favorite cupcake recipe. Allow them to cool completely before frosting.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla frosting with blue food coloring. Start with 4 drops and adjust the color to achieve the desired robin’s egg blue shade. Add more drops if needed and mix well.
  3. Once the frosting reaches the desired color, frost the cooled cupcakes generously using a knife or spoon. You don’t need to be fancy with the frosting, as the goal is to create a nest-like appearance.
  4. Pour the festive pastel colored sprinkles into a shallow dish. Roll the edges of each frosted cupcake in the sprinkles to create the outside of the nest. Gently press the sprinkles onto the frosting to ensure they stick.
  5. Carefully place three Cadbury eggs at the center of each cupcake nest, mimicking the appearance of robin’s eggs in a nest.
  6. Repeat the process for all cupcakes until they are decorated with the sprinkles and Cadbury eggs.
  7. Serve and enjoy these adorable Robin’s Egg Cupcakes as a delightful Easter dessert!
