Tips For Making The Best Panera Turkey Chili Recipe
- If you made dried beans yourself to save some cash, you can use either an old can that you saved or a can from something else to measure out the 15.5 ounce can of beans. Fill the can 3/4 full and you’ll have the right amount!
- If you don’t have fresh onion or jalapeno, consider adding 1 tablespoon of onion powder or a dash of chili flakes or cayenne pepper for some heat.

Panera Turkey Chili Recipe

Description
Warm and filling, this turkey chili is all the flavor of Panera Bread without the cost! Make twice the recipe for double the fun all week long. This chili is the perfect lunch prep or hearty dinner!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 jalapeno – deseeded and minced
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 12 oz tomato paste
- 1 cup edamame
- 1 15.5 oz can kidney beans- drained and rinsed
- 1 15.5 oz can garbanzo beans – drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup drained canned corn
- 4 cubes beef bouillon
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
Instructions
- Warm the oil over medium high heat.
- Add the onion, jalapeno, and ground turkey and cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through. If the turkey is high fat, remove the excess fat.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients, bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes.
- Taste the recipe and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
- Serve this chili with fresh cilantro, shredded cheese, sour cream, or any of your favorite chili toppings.
