Ingredients

1 Parisian loaf, sliced 1/4-1/3 inch thick

1 package Campari tomatoes, thinly sliced

Pre-sliced mozzarella

Fresh basil leaves

Maldon finishing sea salt

Balsamic glaze
Instructions

Slice the bread
Arrange slices of Parisian loaf on a serving platter. -
Add tomatoes
Place two thin slices of tomato on each piece of bread. -
Season
Lightly sprinkle tomatoes with Maldon finishing sea salt.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze. -
Cut mozzarella hearts
Use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut hearts from pre-sliced mozzarella. -
Assemble
Place a fresh basil leaf on each slice.
Top with a heart-shaped mozzarella piece. -
Serve immediately
Best enjoyed fresh.
Notes
Bread can be toasted if preferred, but soft bread gives a lighter texture.
Assemble just before serving for best freshness.
Add extra balsamic drizzle before serving if desired.
