  • Author: Maria

Description

Indulge in nostalgia with my irresistible ham and cheese quiche recipe. Perfect for family gatherings or cozy dinners, this dish is a delightful blend of savory flavors and heartwarming memories. Experience the joy of homemade goodness with every bite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 inch pie crust (homemade or store bought)
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 pound sliced or diced ham
  • 1 tablespoon sliced scallions (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whisk eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
  3. If the pie crust doesn’t already come in a pie pan, drape it over a 9 inch pie pan and cinch the edges to make a cute crust. Alternatively, you can just use a fork all the way around. That looks good too.
  4. Place 3/4 of the cheese in the bottom of the pie crust.
  5. Top that with the ham and scallions.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the top and top with the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes until set in the center.
  8. Let cool for 7-10 minutes before slicing and eating!
