Description

his lazy-girl-fancy salad is elegant yet effortless. Fresh burrata, rolled prosciutto flowers, and colorful grape tomatoes on a bed of greens make a show-stopping appetizer in minutes. Drizzle with balsamic to serve and wow your guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 box of mixed greens (or your preferred salad base)

  • 1 pint grape tomatoes, multicolored if possible

  • 1 ball burrata cheese (about 8 oz)

  • 1 package prosciutto (about 4 oz)

  • Balsamic glaze or balsamic reduction, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Spread the mixed greens evenly on a large serving platter.

  2. Sprinkle the grape tomatoes over the greens.

  3. Tear the burrata into pieces and distribute randomly over the salad.

  4. Roll each slice of prosciutto into a flower shape and place randomly on the salad.

  5. Optionally refrigerate until ready to serve.

  6. Just before serving, drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad to taste.

Notes

Use multicolored grape tomatoes for a more festive, visually appealing salad.

Prosciutto can be substituted with thinly sliced salami if desired.

This salad is best served fresh but can be prepped a few hours ahead.
