Description

Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs are the ultimate comfort food, combining the classic flavors of a cheeseburger in a bite-sized form. Perfect for game days, family dinners, or as a savory snack, these bombs are a crowd-pleaser. Stuffed with seasoned ground beef, bacon, and cheddar, they’re wrapped in southern-style biscuit dough and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound of ground beef
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • 1/4 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of relish or diced pickles
  • 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
  • 1 can of southern-style biscuit dough
  • 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (or your preferred seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Remove from heat and add cooked and crumbled bacon, ketchup, relish (or diced pickles), and yellow mustard. Mix well to create a cheeseburger-flavored filling.
  3. Roll out the southern-style biscuit dough into flat, mini discs on a floured surface.
  4. Add about a tablespoon of shredded cheddar and a tablespoon of the ground beef mixture in the center of each biscuit dough round.
  5. Fold the sides of the dough together, creating a ball or “bomb.”
  6. Place the bombs on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush them with an egg wash (whisked egg).
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds or your preferred seasoning over the top.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown.
