Charcuterie boards are gorgeous… for about five seconds.
After the first guests arrive, the “perfect board” turns into a picked-over puzzle: the pretty sections get ruined, only the first people see it at its best, and everyone else is left trying not to “mess it up” while also not getting what they actually want.
The solution: Easter charcuterie cups.
These Easter charcuterie cups solve both problems:
- Every guest gets their own little plate of art (so it stays pretty)
- Everyone gets one of everything (no hovering, no missing out)
And the best part? These look catered, but they’re not. They’re a no-oven, low-stress Easter appetizer that makes guests feel incredibly special.
If you love entertaining with wow-factor, this is one of those “people will talk about it” wins.

How to make Easter charcuterie cups

Step 1: (Optional) Make the cutest labels in minutes
You can leave the cups plain… but if you want them to look truly catered, personalized labels are the easiest upgrade.
Here’s the simple way:
- Buy a pack of Avery labels .
- Go to Avery Design & Print / Avery Studio (it’s free).
- Type in your label number.
- Search “Easter” and choose a template.
- Customize your text (I did “Happy Easter”… and yes, I debated “Hoppy Easter” 🐰).
- Export as a PDF, print, and stick.
No custom printing, no drama—just a polished look for pennies.
Step 2: Choose your Easter cup ingredients
This is exactly how I built mine (copy it or remix it):
What I used (per cup)
- Cadbury mini eggs (a handful for the bottom)
- 1 tall cracker (like Firehook-style)
- 1 bunny peep (skewered)
- 1 Lindt chocolate carrot
- 1 prosciutto rose melon skewer (recipe linked)
- 1 cheese bunny + grape skewer
- 1 pineapple bunny + strawberry skewer
Other ingredients you’ll prep:
- Green grapes (washed, removed from vine)
- Strawberries (slice in half)
- Cheddar cheese slices
- Pineapple rings or slices (for cutting shapes)
Step 3: Make the “bunny” shapes (easy but wow)
Cheddar cheese bunnies
- Slice cheddar about 1/8-inch thick.
- Use the smallest bunny cookie cutter to cut bunny shapes.
Note: These can be a little fragile. If you’re short on time (or patience), use squares—no one will know what they’re missing.
Pineapple bunnies
- Pat pineapple dry (helps it cut cleanly).
- Use the same bunny cutter to make pineapple bunnies.
Make as many as you need—one cup per person is plenty.
Step 4: Build the skewers (the kit usually includes them!)
Skewer 1: Cheese bunny + grape
- Cheese bunny on top
- Green grape underneath
Skewer 2: Pineapple bunny + strawberry
- Pineapple bunny on top
- Half strawberry on bottom
Skewer 3: Bunny peep
- Skewer one peep per cup (pick your favorite color—pink is extra cute)
Skewer 4: Prosciutto rose melon skewer

- Add one per cup for the “catered” look
(Link: [MELON PROSCIUTTO ROSE SKEWERS RECIPE])
How to assemble the cups (my exact order)
- Set out cups and add your labels (if using).
- Add a handful of Cadbury mini eggs to the bottom of each cup.
- Place a tall cracker at the back (this creates height and structure).
- Add the prosciutto rose skewer (the showpiece).
- Add the cheese bunny + grape skewer.
- Add the pineapple bunny + strawberry skewer.
- Slide in the peep skewer so it’s visible and adorable.
- Finish with the Lindt chocolate carrot (front-facing like the “final touch”).
That’s it. No oven. No stress. Maximum Easter wow.
Make-ahead tips (so these stay pretty)
- Best: Assemble the day of for freshest fruit + peeps.
- Prep ahead (1 day):
- Wash grapes
- Cut strawberries (store airtight)
- Cut cheese + pineapple shapes (store airtight)
- Print and apply labels
- Assemble ahead (2–4 hours): If needed, assemble a few hours early and refrigerate. Add crackers closer to serving if you worry about humidity/softening.
Variations (make them your own)
Use your pantry and your imagination—these are meant to be flexible. Swap in:
- Mini cookies, marshmallows, jelly beans
- Mini naan crackers, pretzel sticks
- Cubed cheese instead of shapes
- Different fruit (raspberries, blueberries, melon balls)
- Chocolate-covered anything for the “dessert bite”
FAQ
How many charcuterie cups should I make per person?
One per person is perfect. They feel generous because they’re layered and include a little of everything.
Can I make these the night before?
You can prep nearly everything the night before, but for the prettiest cups, assemble the day of (or 2–4 hours before). Fruit and peeps look best when fresh.
What if I don’t want to do bunny shapes?
Skip them! Use cheese cubes or squares and pineapple chunks. The cups will still look beautiful—especially with the tall crackers and a showpiece skewer.
Do these work for other holidays?
Yes—this is the format that works year-round. Swap the colors/shapes and you can do Mother’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, baby showers… anything.
