7 can soup soup cans

As a busy mom, I understand the struggle of finding time to make dinner. That’s why I always turn to my trusty slow cooker and look for easy soup recipes like this 7 Can Soup. It only takes seven cans of ingredients and a few hours in the crockpot to create a delicious and filling meal that your whole family will enjoy.

The Simple Ingredients

To make this recipe, you’ll need:

  • One can of no-bean chili
  • One can of cheddar cheese soup
  • One can of Rotel
  • One can of mixed vegetables
  • One can of ranch style beans or chili beans
  • One can of Italian style diced tomatoes
  • One can of whole kernel corn

All of these ingredients can be found at your local grocery store, and most of them have generic or store brand options that will save you money. For example, the recipe calls for Rotel, which can be expensive if you buy a brand name. However, I always buy generic or store brand to save a few pennies each time I buy.

    How Easy Is It?

To start, open all of the cans and pour them into your crockpot. Mix everything together and cook on high for two hours or low for four hours. That’s it! Serve it up with some shredded cheese and sour cream. You can also top it with tortilla chips and you have a delicious and easy meal.

How to Make it Even Better!

If you are a vegetarian, you can use canned black beans, kidney beans, or pinto beans instead of the no bean chili. This will end up being more of a bean soup but still delicious.

If you are not vegetarian, but looking for different options, you could shred a rotisserie chicken and add a packet of taco seasoning to replace the no bean chili. This may make the soup more similar to taco soup or chicken tortilla soup. I also think this would cook up really quickly in the instant pot as well.

    Time to Get Cooking

My family loves this recipe. It’s perfect for those nights when we have swim lessons or other activities that keep us busy until dinnertime. Plus, it’s a great way to save money on groceries without sacrificing taste or nutrition.
